Becoming Her: 90 Days of Intentional Alignment

[00:00:00] And one small shift in one area of your life will just domino into all of these other ones. It's so. It's so interesting to me to be able to watch the women that I work with be able to start with one issue that we're working on, or maybe a couple of issues that we're trying to get some clarity on, and all of a sudden all these other areas of their life are improving.

All of these other areas of their life are impacted as well, and what we thought was an ambitious list of items to start with. Seems really doable

Welcome to Clear and On Purpose, the podcast design to help you cut through the noise and get back to what matters most. If you're feeling stuck, but needs to take intentional action, you are in the right place. I'm Christina Slayback, homeschooling mom of two, and life and business coach. Helping you drop in and align with your values three or space Each week I'll be sharing practical insights and simple actionable [00:01:00] steps to help you find clarity, boost your energy, and design a life that balances ambition with.

Let's dive in and get clear on purpose.

what if you didn't have to wait for the new year to start becoming her? What if by the time the year ended you already felt clear, confident, and aligned? A lot of times I know that I can feel like I might need this fresh start or this big chance, and by the time that we get to fall and September and October rolls around.

Those big goals and ideas that I had at the beginning of the year, they can feel kind of stale and it can feel like there's not enough time left to be able to complete those. So I might as well just let them go and then start over again in January and it can be really normal to feel this. [00:02:00] But the truth is, is that there's still so much time and we are always continually changing and evolving, and we don't have to wait for that big new start in order to be able to continue to grow, evolve, change, gain confidence, gain clarity, and really be able to take control of ourselves and start to become that person inside.

There are so many reasons why we don't actually implement the things that we intend to. So whether that's actual goals that you're setting, or whether that's habits and rhythms and routines that you know would make your life feel better, it's noticing those sticky areas and where the friction is. And knowing and intending to make the change, to make your life more peaceful, to bring more ease, to bring more calm, to bring in the things that make you feel energized and alive, [00:03:00] rather than constantly resentful and tired and stressed and just trying to get through and looking at and identifying those areas.

We can get to that point. Sometimes we can notice. And that's the first step is noticing. But we can notice where those areas may be, but then taking that action and doing the thing that we know will make it better and continuing to do that thing, it can get really sticky. Life comes in the way. There's so many reasons why we don't follow through on the things that we know are beneficial for us.

And this is why when we talk about trying to make overhaul of our habits or doing some of these things, it's nice to bring in some outside opportunities to be able to do it as some type of a challenge or something to get [00:04:00] that motivation going so that you can bring in that consistency and that ability to give yourself.

The trust to be able to continue and to be able to keep moving. So we had talked about this during the momentum method and kind of going over that and bringing in those opportunities to bring in these kind of quick wins to build those long-term habits and breaking it down into really small, meaningful change so that you can keep the sustainability and you can actually be able to continue to show up for yourself.

So think about this past 90 days. I have this past year, I've kind of broken my year into quarters and looking at each one, and particularly in this last quarter, I went into it with a mindset of. I really wanted to increase the joy in my life. I really wanted to [00:05:00] connect with more things that I wanted to do.

I wanted to feel that passion and zest for life again, and I wanted to be able to bring in more rhythms that helped create more space and more ease in the things that we were already doing and the things that I wanted to continue to do. And so bringing in different habits and different opportunities and.

Different little mini challenges that I had. So you know, it was saying yes to more things. It was doing the things that I wanted or had been saying that I wanted to do and bringing those in and actually making them happen. It's been the continual maintenance on some of these rhythms that keep our house functioning.

It's working at and looking at scheduling and adjusting and trying out and testing new things to create more. Of that flow in our lives and I've really made a lot of change and momentum and I've [00:06:00] really been able to lean into a lot of things that are creating so much more balance, so much more flexibility.

It's grounding me so much more and, and being able to maintain the level of interest and the level of being able to. Really sink into my life and appreciate it this past summer, and I was able to really be able to enjoy the whole thing instead of feeling like it was ending too fast or I wasn't taking it in enough, and I just finish that off feeling really.

So grateful for the time that I had appreciating it so much, and also looking forward to what's coming next instead of feeling like I needed it to stay longer because I wasn't able to soak it all in. [00:07:00] And that's really different for me being able to come to that normally at the end of the this season.

And moving into the autumn season. I love the autumn season, but I'm always looking at what's coming next with the snow and the cold and dreading that and looking back on how I didn't do enough and I didn't take advantage enough when we had those long days and when we had that extra sun and warmth.

And so being able to come to this and be really at peace with where I'm at, I really attribute to. Going in and looking at and doing all those refinements, doing all of that testing, really being intentional and continually going back to how I wanted to feel. It's not that it all is smooth, and it's not that I never get overwhelmed or frustrated or anything like that, but it's constantly being able to reassess and bring myself back and trying out those new [00:08:00] things and being able to really have that intentional focus.

Of this past quarter. So a lot can change in just three months. A lot can change in 90 days, and a lot of times when I work with my clients initially, we do work together for three months and it's because it's this really nice container of time where it's short enough that it feels doable, it feels manageable, but it's long enough where you can create some really.

Interesting change. You can create really impactful, meaningful transformation and by looking at that season, and you bring that intentionality with you when you come in with focus, when you come in from a place of clarity where you can choose the habits, the goals, the the intentions for something that actually matters to you.

And not what other people are telling you to [00:09:00] want. Not things that you think that you should want, but being able to really have that clarity over what's important to you and what's gonna be the biggest, or what's going to make the biggest impact for you. And then creating a plan for intentional action, that consistent daily activity, those small, tiny shifts that you can make, that you can just build on each other and that don't feel overwhelming, and that will gradually just lead you exactly where you wanna go.

And it often will occur so much faster because of the momentum that you're bringing towards it. And one small shift in one area of your life will just domino into all of these other ones. It's so. It's so interesting to me to be able to watch the women that I work with be able to start with one issue that we're working on, or maybe a couple of issues that we're trying to get some clarity on, and all of a sudden all these other areas of their life are improving.

All of these other areas of their life are impacted as well, [00:10:00] and what we thought was an ambitious list of items to start with. Seems really doable and there's times when we'll add on or we'll be able to do that in half the time that we thought and be able to make all of this additional change. And what I, one of the things that I really love and that I've been craving as I've been doing some of this, is that I've been able to, to take these intentional focus, take this clarity, break it down into these actionable steps.

But being able to have that support, that accountability, that community of women to be able to do this with and to be able to be on this journey where it's not necessary that we all have the same goals. It's not necessary that we have all the same intentions that we're moving towards, but that we all are moving towards things that are meaningful to us.

That we are all. Taking [00:11:00] the leap and being able to put ourselves out there and trying new things to put ourselves first and be able to make ourselves a priority. Taking that back and being able to share the challenges that come up, be able to share the wins that come up with other people that are on that same journey, to be able to motivate and coach each other and be able to be that area of encouragement is so.

Magical when that synergy of people come together. And I really have been craving that aspect of it too, is just being able to have community and seeing where that magic takes us. I and if you have been feeling off, if you have been feeling just not quite yourself. If you know that there's something more that's in you, if you are tired of waiting for the right time, if you're [00:12:00] tired of waiting for the perfect time, that this is going to be it, and then you can make the space.

If you're ready to make significant, meaningful change, I wanna invite you to come. And participate in this 90 day challenge that I'm gonna be unveiling. There'll be information in the show notes where we're gonna do just that. Over the last three months of the year, we're going to take that opportunity to really be able to hone in on our individual needs, our individual atten intentions, create actionable plans, and have regular communication check-ins, support along the way.

And help watch each other, just blossom and transform and change so that you can end the year being that version of you that has always been inside you, that version of you that is the truest form of [00:13:00] you, not the one that's. Drowning in the over or in the to-do list, not the one that's full of resentment because they have their time.

Constantly feel like it's not their own. But being able to enter the new year, feeling good, feeling confident, feeling at ease, feeling like you're supporting yourself and moving through and making the changes in your life so that you have more space, you have more energy, you have that passion and that spark back.

if this resonates with you and you want more information on the 90 day challenge that we are gonna be embarking on, I am so excited. It's gonna be a small group environment. We're gonna have regular meetups and check-ins. We're gonna do the work together.

You have that support and see where the rest of the year can take you. So look for information in the description, message me for more information, and I look forward to have you join me [00:14:00] for the Becoming Her 90 Days of Intentional Action Challenge. The links in the show notes. And I would love for you to be part of this.
